Paperwork

This page is a quick run down on the paper work part of showing at BHCSC.

Before the show season starts, you can join BHCSC, and sign up for your permanent numbers and designated categories for awards.

It is a good idea to sign up to become a member before the first show. A family membership is $20 and you get a $2 discount on each class entered.

Since you are now a member, you may as well sign up for our year end awards program. Each horse/rider combination will need a permanent show number to be used for the entire season. To sign up for awards check the permanent number list and select an available number by clicking here. Enter the numbers you chose on point designation cards for each horse/rider combination. There is a fee of $5 for each horse/rider combination to be eligible for year end awards.
Send completed cards and $5 for each number to Kris Brimm 656 LeClair Street, Cedar Falls, Iowa.

You can also print the current year's tab sheet before you leave home to save time at the entry booth. The tab sheet is our record of what you entered. It is helpful to us if you also list last names for anyone you are entering whose last name is different from yours. Circle the number of each class for everyone for whom you will be paying. If you will have more than one entry in a class just mark it X2 or X3. If you are showing games on Friday AND performance on Saturday, you may use the same tab sheet for both. If you trailer with someone else, only one of you will need to pay the trailer fee. There is a jumpout fee for each horse on the grounds whether that horse is shown or not. We require you to leave a signed check with the tab sheet, or pay the full amount upon entering.

If you print entry cards at home, please cut them apart and do not change the size. Use your permanent numbers on the entry cards for each class in which you will be showing for the entire season. We use these cards to announce the winners of each class, to print show results, which are published in the Hudson Herald and to tally points for the year end awards. It helps us if the cards are neatly written with all information provided. It is also useful for you to use the same name for the horse for the entire season.
