  1. Membership status of exhibitor will determine amount of entry fee.
  2. Entries for each class will close when preceding class is called to the holding area.
  3. The same horse/pony may not be ridden more than once in the same class (except 8 and under trail and timed events).
  4. Anyone who enters an 8 and under class and is led (not including lead-line) will enter as an exhibition ride and will not place.
  5. Each rider's age is determined as of January 1:
    1. Small ponies - under 50"; large poines 50" - 56"
    2. 8 and under classes - mount must be 56" and under
    3. Pony classes - riders 13 and under, pony 56" and under
    4. 13 and under classes - any size mount
    5. Youth classes - riders 18 and under
    6. Adult classes - riders 19 and over
    7. Lead-line can be any size mount - rider 6 years old and under
  6. Horses and ponies can be measured with this measurement recorded and may enter at this size for the season.
  7. Exhibitors must be 18 years of age or older to handle or show stallions, except weanling and yearling halter.
  8. Junior horse ( 5 and under) ridden in non-shank snaffle or bosal may be ridden two-handed in all classes.
  9. Color breed western pleasure is open to palomino, buckskin, dun, grulla, appaloosa, paint and pinto horses.
    1. Horses may show in either solid, or color breed class, but not both per show.
  10. All riders must wear long pants and western or English boots.
  11. All numbers must be visible. Each number equals a horse/rider combination.
  12. Six places will be named in each class or event. All must be qualified rides.
  13. Upon entering the show grounds, all persons take responsibility for the actions of their animals and themselves and can be asked to leave the premises by the show committee.
  14. NO alcoholic beverages on premises.
  15. Horses are not allowed in the spectator area.
  16. All horses/ponies must go to the designated hold area when the class is called and must start from the designated starting area to qualify.
    1. Horses/ponies are not to run, except in the designated warm up area.
  17. Tack changes for entries in back-to-back classes must be done in the chute or holding area.
  18. For timed events, horses/ponies must start within the chute. Running beyond the chute after exiting the arena is highly discouraged.
  19. Trail class rules: After 3 unsuccessful attempts, rider must move to next obstacle.
  20. Barrel and pole rules: Knocking over a barrel or pole results in a 5 second penalty for each occurrence.
  21. Flag race rules: Failure to pick up the flag or stick flag within cylinder, or tipping a barrel or bucket results in disqualification.
  22. Jumping figure 8 rules: Knocking over a barrel, refusing or knocking over the jump or breaking the pattern results in a no-time.
    1. Helmets are required.
  23. Special Awards:
    1. Queen - must have been a member last year and during the current year.
    2. Youth Horsemanship Buckle - may be one once per person; must have been a member last year and during the current year.
    3. Adult highpoint timed and judged - All classes open to an adult rider will be counted including jackpot classes.
  24. Refunds may be given in the case of hardships or weather at the discretion of the show chair; no reruns for failure of equipment.
  25. Showchair has the authority to make decisions regarding cancellations, additions or splitting of classes and the showbill as long as it is done before the event begins and is announced to all participants.
